This blog is long overdue! I wish I was more like those people who have time to blog every single day about the new decoration they created for their home, or the remodeling project they just finished, or the 2 page expressive writing they spent hours writing, or the delicious dinner they made for their family with 20 pictures of the same yummie desert they made...but I'm not. I am a mom of 3 boys who hardly has time to sit down and take a breath some days. But, I have to admit that I love every single minute of my life with my family, and I wouldn't trade it for anything!
So, long story short...this is why I have taken a break from blogging. I've been trying to catch up on things, and instead of just starting where I left off I felt like I had to make up for lost time. But, today is a new day. I decided I'm going to forgive myself for not blogging and just jump right back in!
Does anyone feel like this is how their life is? Especially with scrapbooking? Do you have thousands of pictures that need to be scrapbooked? If you're anything like me I feel like I can't start scrapbooking my current pictures until I've caught up on my older pictures first. Trust me, you will never get anything done with this approach!
I just went to the Inspiration Unlimited with Teresa Collins last weekend, and can I say AMAZING! I went with my sister and two of my cousins and we had a blast! It was just what I needed to get a jump start on my scrapbooking again. I made a promise with the girls that I would finish my uncompleted projects by Christmas time complete with pictures and journaling! Thanks Teresa for an amazing time, and for the inspiration I needed to get going on my scrapbooking again.
One class I took by Teresa was a class on Gratitute. The whole concept of the album was to write down something you are grateful every day of the year. Now you think that might be hard to do, but really, how hard is it to take one minute a day to think about something we appreciate or are grateful for. I absolutely love the idea. Thanks again Teresa!
Have a great night!
