Background: #203 The Khan (solid red side)
Cut a 9 ½” x 9 ½” from #200 Brightness (white leaves).
Round the top corners of the 9 ½” x 9 ½” piece.
Using your 1 ½” circle punch, punch 5 holes evenly spaced along the bottom edge of the 9 ½” x 9 ½” piece.
Adhere the 9 ½” x 9 ½” piece to the center of the background.
Using your thin black pen draw around the 9 ½” x 9 ½” piece twice and once around the inside of the circles onto the background.
Use the pattern to write “love is the only gold.” in the circles and outline with thin black pen.
Punch out black parenthesis chipboard shapes and adhere to each end of the title.
Mat your 5” x 7” photo onto #205 (solid red side).
Cut a piece of gray ribbon to go along the bottom of the photo and adhere with glue dots.
Using your pattern trace the large heart onto the #201 (solid black) and small heart onto #205 (solid red side).
Wrinkle the hearts and sand paper.
Adhere red heart to the center of the black heart. Adhere to the photo mat.
Cut a 1 ¾” piece of red polka dot ribbon and glue dot across the bottom of the hearts.
Glue dot the white button to the ribbon.
Punch out the black photo corner chipboard shape and adhere to the top left corner of the photo.
Tip for the title: Using the pattern and a ball point pen trace over the top of the words onto the background. When you remove the pattern you’ll have an indention of the words. Then, take a thin black pen and trace over the indention. You can also use this tip for tracing the shapes from the pattern sheet. Since most printers don’t allow cardstock or 12” x 12” paper, this is a great technique to remember.
